The Orana Spring Fair is not your average school fete! At Orana Steiner School, seasonal festivals offer us a tangible opportunity to reconnect with both the rhythm of nature and our community. With pride and delight we enjoy preparing for months to bring you a range of unique and special offerings including:
- Thoughtful, natural and fun activities for children including cardboard creations, a children’s tent, games and a surprise treat sponsored by the P&F!
- Beautiful handmade, natural items ranging from unique toys and dolls, clothes, soaps, candles and chai,
- Secondhand bargains including books and clothes,
- Delicious food and treats including curry, bake sale, popcorn, natural slushies, ice cream, chai and more,
- Music, dance and other performances from students and the community
- A plant stall
- A silent auction
- Market stalls
- And much more!

Wayfarers
Waldorf Wayfarers was originally founded by director Judith Clingan AM in 1997 to provide performance experience for Steiner school teenagers, especially boys, who loved singing. It is now open to anyone of any age who loves singing. New members welcome: please contact Judy below.

Canberra Dragon Dance is Canberra's own Asian Performing Arts Academy providing tuition in Dragon & Lion Dance and asian martial arts. It's members perform across Canberra and surrounding regions for public and private events such as festivals, weddings and business openings. It is run by the Moonbear Kungfu Academy under Sifu Wilson Lo with 36 years experience in martial arts. The dragon & lion dance instructors are former champions in National competitions in China.

Yvette has been an enthusiastic member of the Canberra African drumming community for the last 6 years and has taken every opportunity to learn more deeply, and in return, share it with others. She recently traveled to Guinea, West Africa, to study djembe, and continues to study in Canberra under Guinean master drummer, Mohamed Bangoura (BK, Bangourake).

Rebecca Lane from Folk Dance Canberra will present an international folk dance workshop for families featuring dances from Germany, Wales, India, Italy, Norway, Greece and France. This is a fun activity for kids and adults to share together and absorb some culture at the same time!

Dark Horse is a dynamic and versatile five-piece cover band whose repertoire includes a wide range of genres and eras, catering to a variety of audiences and venues. Rocking stages in Canberra and beyond since 2016, they are a diverse crew with members from all over Australia…and the world! With their edgy take on rock and pop classics, Dark Horse always brings the house down!
