Class Five have been exploring the rich and fascinating arts and crafts of Ancient Egypt. Through this learning, they are developing an understanding of how art can reveal important insights into a civilisation’s culture, social structure, and beliefs. By investigating a range of art-related artefacts, students are beginning to interpret symbolism, materials, and techniques used by Ancient Egyptians, and to recognise how these reflect daily life, religious practices, and hierarchical society.
