Winter Market

Thank you to all the families who braved the chilly weather on the last day of Term 2 to join in the festivities of the Winter Community Markets! Many enjoyed a chance to socialise, some warm delicious offerings and to pick up some beautiful handmade goodies. The markets not only support our Parents and Friends Association, and all the work they do to support the school, but they are also a lovely chance to connect with other families and re-build our school community in the aftermath of Covid. A massive thanks goes out to all those who volunteered to help or contributed a baked good or soup. It couldn’t have happened without you!

Coming together to volunteer and attend events such as festivals, markets and performances is not only an opportunity to support the school; but is an important aspect of a Steiner education and a primary contributor to student success and wellbeing. Research has shown that vibrant, engaged school communities help children with not only motivation, behaviour and social and emotional learning, but also academic achievement. (So you can feel really virtuous about coming along to enjoy a hot choc and a snag!)
