CTRL+A Winners at Orana

The Creative Thought and Reflection Literary Award (CTRL+A) has concluded for another year. This year we aligned our theme with the CBCA Book Week theme: Old Worlds, New Worlds and Other Worlds.

We received a myriad of entries that followed the tales of characters from worlds of old and places familiar. Some told the thoughts and struggles of creatures who cannot speak for them themselves, and others were from new worlds conjured by the imaginations of these young authors and poets. It has been an absolute pleasure to read these fantastic pieces and view the delightful artwork and humour of the graphic novels.

We would like to congratulate all entrants on their wonderful submissions. The quality of these pieces was outstanding, and I hope all our young authors and poets keep writing and creating, your talents are extraordinary.

All winning and notable entrants will receive a certificate and prize money, book or book voucher, kindly donated by the Book Cow in the first term of 2022. The Orana P&F would like to thank Paul at the Book Cow for his very generous donation of book vouchers for this year’s competition and for all the support offered to new authors and readers in the Canberra region.

Notable entries and winners of the 2021 CTRL+A: Old Worlds, New Worlds and Other Worlds Orana P&F Fundraiser. Further details of prizes will be published here at a later date.
