Congratulations to Zoe W, Zoe F, Oliver, Maggie and Cassie who have recently achieved the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. To achieve this award students committed to a range of regular activities across the areas of Physical Recreation, Skills development and Voluntary Service, as well as improve their hiking, navigating and camping knowledge by participating in at least two ‘adventurous journeys’, all in their own time.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is an international program with over 8 million participants worldwide, and over 775,000 participants in Australia over the last 58 years. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zone, and draws connections between community, physical activity, personal development and nature.
