Orana’s best Regional Athletics team ever hit Woden Athletics Park on Wednesday 23rd August. Over 40 of our athletes were representing us as they jumped, ran and threw to the best of their ability against the schools in the region. I’d really like to thank all the students for getting out and doing their best as it was our best team outcome ever, and it shows that every effort, even completing an event is valued by our team. Additional congratulations to eighteen of our athletes who have qualified for ACT Championships in week 10. Standout performance from Lucia who won discus, Amelia won Javelin, Callum won High Jump, and Ruby who won the 800m and 1500m breaking the regional record in the 1500m (5:27.25)
