Isabel the Therapy Dog

You may have noticed a new friendly visitor on-site this week walking around the campus or visiting Primary School classrooms. Isabel is a certified therapy and in-training assistance Golden Labrador owned by the Pattrick family. Their daughter Jayda is in Class 1KN. The Pattrick family have generously offered Isabel as a ‘working’ therapy dog at school to support individual students and in various timetabled classes everyday throughout the week.

Isabel will be spending this week as an ‘orientation’ and getting to know the campus. She will be visiting Primary classes over the next few days and introducing herself to students and staff.

If you see Isabel on a walk or visiting classes, please remember to say ‘hello’ to the person first and then ask to pat Isabel. Isabel is very calm and friendly and she is used to touch, so please don’t be shy!
