High School Learning Journeys and Parent-Teacher Interviews

We were thrilled to see so many parents and students at our High School and Senior College Learning Journey on August 15th. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re excited to implement improvements based on your suggestions. We look forward to making this event an annual tradition.

At Orana, we’re dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment between parents, teachers, and students to enhance the learning experience. Your involvement in student learning journeys not only enriches the experience but also strengthens the bond between home and school.

When parents participate in these learning journeys, it creates opportunities for mutual engagement and shared exploration. By joining in these activities, parents gain a deeper understanding of their child’s education and see our curriculum in action. This involvement also fosters stronger connections among parents, teachers, and students, allowing us to work together more effectively. Active parental engagement in educational experiences reinforces the value placed on education and positively impacts students. We’ve already noticed the benefits from our recent learning journey evening.

Parent-teacher interviews have been taking place this week, with another session scheduled for week 10. These interviews provide additional opportunities for parents to engage in a supportive and collaborative approach to their child’s learning.

Thank you for your continued involvement in your child’s education. In Term 4, we’ll have more opportunities to celebrate our students’ achievements, and we look forward to sharing these moments with you.
