One of our parents, Anne, is co-ordinating and working to create improvisation classes for students and parents/carers to participate together in, to develop healthy confident communication and self-expression in a supportive environment.
Students are welcome independently, however parents/carers are encouraged to join to facilitate powerful family bonding.
We are so pleased to have a professional improvisation teacher from Impro ACT There will be a fee to cover the teacher and room hire We are offering a:
- Junior Improvisation lesson for Class 1 – 5 and
- a Senior Improvisation lesson for Class 6 – 12
- Junior lesson 15:30-16:15 and
- senior lesson 16:15-17:00
Both will be held in the Hill Drama Room weekly during the school term Improvisation teaches children and adults self-leadership; utilises imagination to create new ideas, fosters spontaneity, supports development of intellect, interpersonal and emotional awareness in a safe and fun environment.
