Orienteering ACT is holding a sprint orienteering event on our Orana school campus this Sunday morning, 25th February, from 9am to 10am. Orienteering is an event where competitors navigate their own way through the landscape between checkpoints following a course on a map. Sprint orienteering is a short and fast version in urban locations like schools and university campuses. Orienteering is a sport for exercising the minds and bodies of all ages and abilities, from young kids to those well into their golden years. It will be FREE for anyone in the Orana community to turn up, grab a map and have a go. Families can go around as a team or take the challenge of racing to be the quickest! There will be lots of friendly people around to have a chat or point you in the right direction.
