This week Class Four have been learning and experimenting with paper making under the guidance of Ian. The students really enjoyed ripping up the recycled paper, blending it, moulding it and seeing how the paper dried the next day.
Paper making is part of the Art, Science and History of Writing Main Lesson which is an exploration in early language and the development of the Roman alphabet. The students have received their fountain pens and are now looking forward to using them on their handmade paper.
