Playgroup at Orana is a lovely introduction to Steiner Education for both the child and parent. We meet at our beautiful Playgroup room in Rosewood, where playgroup leaders gently guide families through the rhythm of the morning.
Our session begins with kneading dough and baking bread which is later enjoyed as part of a shared morning tea.
There is time to observe the children in both quiet, creative indoor play and more active, boisterous outdoor play.
Song is woven throughout the morning and also enjoyed as part of our morning circle, where we celebrate nature and the seasons through song and verse.
The morning concludes with the playgroup leader sharing a puppet story with a seasonal theme.
