Swimming Championships
Congratulations to Huon Perry who represented Orana Steiner at the recent ACT Schools Swimming Championships. Huon placed 2nd in 50m Backstroke, 3rd in 100m Breaststroke and 3RD in 50m Freestyle for Under 18 Boys.
Ayva Nair also represented Orana Steiner School for 12 Girls and competed heavily on the day.
Rowing
The Orana rowing team had a very successful season, competing in the Daramalan Rowing Club and placing 2nd and 3rd in various races throughout the season, with Orana placing 2nd in their race for the ACT Head of River race in February. The team represented both Orana and the ACT and were hopeful of placing well in the race but ended up being disadvantaged due to technical difficulties.
Congratulations to the team for such a strong season and to Allegra for being awarded the Coaches award for demonstrating leadership, perseverance and commitment throughout the season.
