Year 10 were extremely excited to get away for a quick day trip to dip their feet in the ocean. This pastoral day is designed to give time for social development as well as challenge students’ comfort zones as they learn new skills in different environments.
Many took on the waves and thoroughly enjoyed learning to surf and were fulfilled with their outcomes. Several chose to simply enjoy the surroundings and take in what the day had to offer. Thanks to Suzanne and Kirstie for travelling with the group, we are looking forward to many more experiences to share with each other.
