Congratulations to our Drama students from years 9, 10, and 11 who participated in ACT UP! 2024. ACT UP is a Canberra school-based performing arts program, and our students created and wrote their own plays. Orana had 3 groups that performed up on the Playhouse Theatre stage on the 31st May.
They had an amazing day out at the Canberra Theatre, participating in NIDA workshops, ‘theatre think tanks’ for the design of the new building at Canberra Theatre, watching a performance of ‘The River that Ran Uphill’, stage management workshops, and performing on the Playhouse stage. Thank you to our student stage managers, who supported the performers throughout the day.
