Ceramic Gargoyles
Students have been researching Gothic Architecture and looking at the details which adorn the buildings built in this style.
Message Sticks
Students crafted message sticks, investigating how First Nations People would communicate over vast distances, sending messages of happenings of importance. Often the message stick would include symbols of those who were delivering the messages.
Year 8 delved deeply into identifying their own individual characteristics and personal attributes. These were then transformed into symbolic representations, converted into coloured thread to adorn their own personal message stick.
Year 10
Exploring the coiling method using terracotta clay, students will be learning surface texture and decorative methods to create visual stories on the surface of their coiled vessel.
