This semester the Class 5’s have been making Bird Nesting Boxes to assist the local native birds. It has been a wonderful experience and the end results are fantastic.
They have been encouraged to put their own designs on the boxes and we have incorporated an Indian Myna baffle on the front of the boxes. The project is an example of connecting the students with nature and bringing an understanding of human impact on the native wildlife.
